RUFC - Future Bright

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins
says he is looking towards the youth at Millmoor to progress which is convincing him that the future is bright for Rotherham United.

He told The Star that he is prepared to give the younger members of the squad oopportunities and he did that in Tuesday nights JP Trophy game.

Two of the youngsters he played are loan players Jamie Annerson (goalie) and defender Ryan Cresswell, but players to come through the ranks at Millmoor were given a chance too namely Marc Newsham up front and midfield player Jamie Yates.

'I handed out opportunities,' Robins said, 'kept others in the side and, hopefully, these young lads will play a big future in the club. They are starting to show signs that they are ready which can only bode well for the future.

'They are young and we have got to try an nuture them and bring them through.

'But, you do have to be patient with them.'
