Rotherham United defender, Ian Sharps, who's home shirt Rotherham Vital sponsor, has told The Advertiser that he was relieved to pick up the three points against Mansfield last Saturday.
'We made hard work of what should have been an easy afternoon,' he said.
'We played well for maybe an hour and then relaxed a bit too much.
'At three-nil we needed to put our foot on the ball but Mansfield changed their formation and we did well to hang on in the end.
'It was the third of three tough games in a week and maybe it took it's toll. But, overall, I thought we deserved the win.'
Sharps said he isn't taking too much notice of the league table yet, 'we'll look at it more closely around Christmas,' he said 'but right now we are just looking at the next game.'
