RUFC - Injury Update

Rotherham United are boosted with the news that Mark Hudson came through eighty-six minutes of a reserve game this week.

Hudson, twenty-six, suffered medial ligament damage in a pre-season friendly against neighbours Sheffield United and has yet to start a first team game since joining in the summer from Huddersfield Town.

'We're desperate to have him back,' manager, Mark Robins told The Advertiser.

Good news on Mark Joseph as well. After discharging himself from hospital last Saturday to watch his team mates beat Mansfield three-two, then going back, he has now been given the go ahead to join the squad. He has been out with a deep set kidney infection and his progress will be monitored carefully before he makes any return to action.

Bad news now of goalkeeper, Steven Cann. He dislocated his shoulder nearly two months ago and new tests show that he could be out until February or March.

Mark Robins said, 'it's a blow to both us and him. Steven is a good prospect and he was doing so well.'
