RUFC - Latest Poll Result

Should all League games kick off at 3pm on Saturdays?

The result:
Yes - it's traditional (64%)
Yes - stop bowing down to television (14%)
Depends on the situation (14%)
No - it doesn't really matter (8%)

The majority of the people who voted said that all league games should kick off at 3pm because it's traditional.

I was surprised not more people had voted to stop bowing down to television pressure. I suppose, for the lower league clubs, TV pressure isn't something we have to deal with. It's nice when we do get the TV people like Sky or Setanta coming and generates a little excitment and some well needed cash. But, I imagine, for the Premiership and, though not as much, the Championship, the cash from TV is part and parcel of their every day incomings and outgoings. Which, incidently, I think should be shared out more equally.

A new poll about the Millers strikers appears on this page - please vote.

There is, also on this page, a blue box with the words 'HAVE YOUR SAY...' in. You can't beat 3 o'clock on a Saturday but if someone at SKY wants to throw money towards our club I would play at 3 in the morning any day of the week!!!
