Rotherham Vital's southernbelle asked our resident statistician, zipadeedoodah, if he could find her any facts out about the first game she attended.


'My first ever game watching Rotherham was against Bolton at home Bruce Rioch was manager.Rotherham scored and I got crushed against barrier.At half time was escorted down side of pitch to first aid place and was rushed to hospital!! So missed 2nd half but I know we won!! Diagnosed with broken ribs ..great initiation to the Rotherham'

The game in question SB was on September 12th 1992.
Rioch took over at Bolton on 29th May 1992.

Rotherham 2 Bolton 1 gate 5,227 Half Time 1-0

Goals Goater 2 for us
Phil Brown (now Hull manager) for Bolton.
