RUFC - The Skipper 'I'm Greedy'

Rotherham United captain and defender, Graham Coughlan has been talking to MillersWorld today and has admitted that he's greedy when it comes to points and clean sheets.

On Saturday against Morecambe he said it was a great performance. 'I was a little disappointed in conceding a goal but I am greedy and want clean sheets and wins to come together. But it was a big win for us which puts us on a little unbeaten run. Touch wood it will continue and we can push on. We do seem to have got the correct formula now both home and away.'

Talking about his first goal for the club against Brentford he said, 'God knows what I was doing up for that! But I got a bit lucky and it went in. It meant a lot for me to score but I would have preferred to get the three points.'

He was asked about Ian Sharps and said, 'Sharps has come back from injury and done well. He is very important to us not only because he is big and strong but he helps out a few of the other lads as well.

'You know there is a lot of new faces at the club and most have adapted and done really well. But it is still early days and you would expect us to be gelling more by February.'

Speaking about next Saturday's trip to Brentford, he said, 'It will be similar to Barnet and it is about the same distance to travel. We will have to battle. If we can get the ball down and impose ourselves on them then maybe we will be more than they can handle. In the end it will be whoever rolls up their sleeves and battles hardest who will come out on top.'

Coughlan, Sharps and Warrington have been great so far this season but I wish we were talking about how many goals our forward line was scoring!!!
