'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Latest Poll Result

Rotherham United have a lot of young players coming through the ranks at present and the question I asked was:
Of the young Millers at the moment , who do you think will go the furthest in their football?
The result was:
Brogan (58%)
Yates (16%)
Newsham (11%)
Duncum (5%)
Kerr (5%)
Other (5%)
Taylor (0%)
King (0%)

More than half those who voted went for nineteen year old defender, Stephen Brogan, who has impressed most Millers fans over the last couple of seasons. He has played forty-three times for the Millers (including substitute appearances)and this Saturday, cooly stepped up to slot a penalty away to equalise against Morecambe.

Second placed Jamie Yates got his first senior goals on Saturday after coming on as sub while Marc Newsham is just establishing himself in the first team.

Sam Duncum, Natt Kerr, Liam King and Ryan Taylor all appeared for the Reserves today in their one-nil win over Sheffield Wednesday Reserves. Taylor has just returned from a loan spell at Burton Albion and Liam King scored the only goal in today's game. Sam Duncum, on as a sub today, impressed me greatly and Natt Kerr played a good part in the game.

The future of Rotherham United looks safe in these young players hands.
