'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - O'Grady on last weekend

Rotherham United striker, Chris O'Grady might have looked like an extra from Casualty last weekend when he stepped out to play against Dagenham and Redbridge but he played his part in his teams two-nil victory.

According to The Advertiser, O'Grady put in a 'hard working shift and the twenty-one year old told them, 'Going forward we looked like we could have scored more goals and our defence looked really tight. It couldn't have been much better.'

Manager, Mark Robins, started with a 4-3-3 formation but O'Grady said, 'when you defended it became 4-5-1 and when the ball went forward at times in the first half, it was hard to hold it up. But, being one up, in the second half the game opened up and we could express ourselves better.'

O'Grady has scored just three goals this season and he said he obviously wants to score more or be in a position to score more but he doesn't want to put too much pressure on himself. 'It's my first full season playing week-in, week-out football. My target for the season is getting into double figures.'

Keep at it Chris, the goals are bound to come.
