RUFC - 'fancied Hudson to score'

Rotherham United midfielder, Mark Hudson got his first senior goal for the Millers on Saturday in the two-one win over Grimsby at Millmoor and it was clear to all how ecstatic he felt as he ran over to the fans in the Tivoli kissing his Rotherham badge.

Hudson, twenty-seven, has been laid low with an injury since pre-season and admitted this week that it had been hard watching training and not being able to join in.

But he certainly banished all those thoughts on Saturday and manager, Mark Robins told The Star, 'Getting that goal so quickly after coming back from injury will be a great boost to his confidence. I always fancied him to start scoring when he settles down and gets more games under his belt.'

I was really pleased for Mark Hudson when he scored on Saturday. I think the fans are going to take to him big style.
