RUFC - Harrison on his goals

Rotherham United midfield player, Danny Harrison, scored two goals last weekend against Dagenham and Redbridge and has been talking to MillersWorld today about them.

'One was a free kick that we've been working on,' Harrison, twenty-five yesterday said, 'I managed a glancing header and the ball went in. And, it was on the way into the back of the net before it got a deflection so I am waving my arm in the air.

'The second was from a good run from Paddy down the left hand side and I arrived in the box at the right time and it went in.'

The Liverpudlian then spoke about the game on Saturday, 'We knew a bit about Grimsby having played them in the JP Trophy earlier this season but we made a bit of hard work of it. When the opposition get a player sent off it doesn't always go right for you but I thought we did really well and it was a deserved win in the end.

'We're on a great run at the moment and if we can win against Bury tomorrow night it all bodes well.'

He was asked about his getting picked for the League Two Team of the Week last week and he said, 'I didn't know but am obviously pleased although the main thing was that we went down there and we got a win.'

Danny reminds me a lot of John Mullin - how he played I mean, not his looks
