RUFC - Robins post FA Cup game

RUFC - Robins post FA Cup game

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, spoke to MillersWorld after his teams two all draw with Forest Green Rovers yesterday at The New Lawn.

'It wasn't good,' Robins said. 'If we'd gone in one down at half time I'd have been a lot happier but we conceeded a poor goal in the final minute of the first half which wasn't good.

'We weren't focused and that was what was disappointing as we'd talked about it all week. I am not taking anything away from Forest Green who were excellent and when they went one up it lifted their crowd, their players were up for it and they worked out a way to pass the ball better.

'At half time we had to change it and that was disappointing too, having to change our system to suit them. But we went out and our true spirit came through and we got the reward. In Cup football you have to put in a shift which we didn't do in the first half.

'The fans will have gone home a little happier than in the first half. And, we have the chance to finish it off at Millmoor but we will come unstuck if we think it will be a formality.'
