RUFC - Balls!!!

RUFC - Balls!!!

Did you know that the FA Cup balls are a different shape to ordinary every day balls? I have to confess that I didn't.

But Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, certainly isn't happy with the balls used for FA Cup games.

Speaking earlier to MillersWorld he said, 'I hve to mention the balls used in FA Cup games. Like last season, they are not round, they are egg shaped.

'You are talking about a premier competiton and the balls don't roll right. It's shocking!'

If this is the case then I have to agree with our manager and let's leave the funny shaped balls to the egg chasers of the rugby world. (I did wonder if he'd been on the cooking sherry before the game yesterday but have been assured that he hadn't!)
