'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - 'no sentiment in selection'

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, says he will not select a player just because he used to play for the opposition, he picks the team he thinks will win.

The Millers travel to Accrington Stanley on Saturday and ex Stanley player Andy Todd, after losing his place in recent weeks in the Millers side, would love to get a recall and play against his old club.

But Robins told The Star, 'I intend to pick a side capable of winning this game. Sentiment doesn't come into it.

'And, whatever team I pick on Saturday, it isn't just about that particular eleven, it's about the whole squad.

'We have a lot of games coming up and it's possible that, as we have a small squad, that there will be a chance for a number of the players to be involved.

'The key is to be ready when the chance comes.'

And nor should he. He'd be a fool if he did.
