'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Ian Ross

Rotherham United have had their fair share of loanee's already this season, most of them coming via Bramall Lane and holding midfielder, Ian Ross, is no exception.

Twenty-one year old Ross is no stranger to being loaned out as Sheffield United have sent him out on loan to Boston United, Bury and twice to Notts County before he arrived last week at Millmoor.

Speaking to MillersWorld earlier he said that he was a 'good passer of the ball and he liked to get on the ball,' though he did say he wasn't really a box to box player.

He thought the Millers had had a good start to the season, 'I watched the game last Tuesday against Bury and I couldn't believe how good they played. It's going to be a challenge for me getting into the side,' he said.

'I spoke to Mark Robins on the phone and I'd seen Rotherham a few times and knew they were a good footballing side. Jamie Annerson, from Sheffield United, is still here on loan, and he told me what a good set up they have here and what a good club it is and he helped me make the move.

'There may be a view to me moving here on a permanent deal but first I have to break into the team and show the fans and manager what I can do.'
