RUFC - 'Rode our luck at the end'

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins admitted that his Rotherham side rode their luck a little towards the end of yesterday's game, but still came away with a one-nil win.

Speaking to the Official Site, he said, 'Accrington threw everything at us towards the end of the game and we rode our luck a little but we deserved that.'

But, on the whole Robins was pleased with his teams performance, 'I think we had about twenty shots at goal and could have won by a much bigger margin and we made hard work of it at times. But I think we were good value for the one-nil win and it sent our fans away happy.

'We needed to stifle their five across the middle of the park and I changed the team at half-time, although I always thought I was going to put Ryan Taylor on.

'The team were excellent and we played well against a side that are difficult to play against on their home ground and we took control in the second half.

'We are on a great run at the moment and we have to keep it going. It was a big win for us and we have to enjoy it.

'Now we have to think about preparing for the Forest Green game on Tuesday.'
