RUFC - Robins on Hudson & Warrington

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, said he really couldn't single out any one man after the win at the Fraser Eagle Stadium yesterday but he did have words for the scorer, Mark Hudson and goalkeeper, Andy Warrington.

Mark Hudson joined the Millers in the summer from Huddersfield Town but has only just got into the first team due to an injury sustained in a pre-season friendly with Sheffield United. His manager told the Official Site, 'Mark was playing in an unfamiliar role yesterday but we know he can do that. He caused Accrington some problems down the right and got in on a number of occassions.'

Thirty-one year old Warrington also got a word from Robins for his performance, 'Andy Warrington took some good balls out of the air yesterday,' Robins said, 'and his kicking and distribution was good. Acccrington's delivery from set pieces was excellent but Andy did very well.'

at last a keeper who's not afraid of the ball

He commands his area well - I have to admit I was a bit suspect of him at first when I saw him in the pre season games but he's proved his worth already this season

Good to see super Andy Warrington still putting in the good performances. I can't believe you've got a picture of him in his Donny shirt though!!!
