'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins 'Be Patient'

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, is asking the fans to have parience with the young players in the team.

He says he understands that the fans have the need for 'new heroes' at Millmoor but he doesn't want to put too much pressure on the young shoulders of players like Stephen Brogan, Marc Newsham and Ryan Taylor. Robins has brought these three, and others like them, through the ranks at Millmoor and they are capturing the eye of the supporters while helping in the fight to get back into League One.

Robins told The Yorkshire Post 'The young players are starting to show signs they are capable of making careers in football but there is always the danger of complacency and a lot will depend on how hard they are prepared to work.

'We want these players to grow up and give something back to the community but I want to ask our supporters to remember that they still have a lot to learn in the game and are inexperienced.'
