RUFC - Not After Fleetwood

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, is not going to try and sign Forest Green Rovers top scorer, Stuart Fleetwood, even though he played a big part in putting his team out of the FA Cup.

Fleetwood has been churning out goals for the Blue Square Premier League side this season but, although seeing him play twice, Robins told The Advertiser they wouldn`t be making a move for him.

'He`s got good feet, he`s quick, direct and a natural finisher,` the Millers manager said of Fleetwood, 'and having someone who can get you twenty or so goals a season gives you a chance of reaching the play-offs. But they are talking a six figure sum for him and there`s no way we can compete with that.`
