'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Hudson 'we will make amends'

Rotherham United's fit again midfield player, Mark Hudson says that despite the home Cup defeat to the non-league side Forest Green, the Millers have what it takes to continue their rise up the table.

He spoke to The Advertiser this week saying, 'We want to force home the advantage we got when we beat Accrington last weekend and go on and beat Shrewsbury.

'We're on a good league run and the first half performance against Bury a few weeks ago was the best we've played. Everyone knows each other and we're starting to gel better. I've told the lads we're playing better in the league because I'm back!'

Talking about his goal, that proved to be the winner against Accrington on Saturday, he said, 'I scored my first league goal for the Millers against Grimsby but this one was special because it was a winner. And, Accrington isn't the best place to go. It's tough and it's ugly but we were up for it. Some of our moves in the second half destroyed them and the only thing that let us down was our finishing.

'With our fans behind us this weekend hopefully we can put in another good show and get all three points.

'And I'm sure we are going to be up there or there abouts at the end of the season.'
