'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins on Hurst and Joseph

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins was a happy man tonight after the home win against Shrewsbury which sees his team go into third place.

He picked out two players, Paul Hurst who is the longest serving player at the club after breaking the appearance record today and Marc Joseph.

'Paul Hurst,' the manager told the Official Site, 'has been brilliant. He wasn't happy about being left out today. He wants to play football. He's not put off by creating records.

'I thought Mark Joseph was a little tentative to start with today but he got stronger as the game went on.

'With not having a big squad this is what we want. We need players to be ready to go in when needed.'

If I'm being honest, I never noticed Joseph in the first half! But he was very good in the second
