RUFC - Latest Poll Result

The last poll we had was about England and who should the next manager be?

More than half of those voting said it should be ex Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho.

I also went for Mourinho as I couldn't think of an English manager who, I feel at the moment, could do a good job for us. And, I think Mourinho would get the players fired up, which, let's be honest, is something that needs to happen.

On the other hand, how would a top League manager cope knowing that he wouldn't be able to spend copious amounts of money to bring in new players. He would only have what McClaren had - and some of those players haven't even been making their clubs first eleven.

Here is the result:

Jose Mourinho (59%)
Other (18%)
Alan Shearer (13%)
Terry Venables (5%)
Keep Steve McClaren (3%)
Sir Alex Fergusson (2%)

For those who put Other - who would you want?

I personally don't think Alan Shearer is ready

with shearer i think he would need to prove himself at club level first before being given the helm of the national side

Hmm maybe, 4life, though I wonder if we should have been 'tailoring' someone to be just an international manager?
