MIKE P RUSSELL FROM HERTFORDSHIRE

Mike was promoted to the Football League list of assistant Referee's for the start of the 2001-2002 season, before progressing to the National list of Referee's in 2004.

So far this season he has taken charge of 17 games, showing 38 yellows and 3 reds.
His last outing was at Bramall Lane last Saturday when Plymouth won 1-0.

Matthew Connelly....COLCHESTER V Charlton
Sean Thornton....Cardiff v LEYTON ORIENT

Despite this being Mike's 5th season as a Football League Referee, he has only taken charge of 1 previous Millers game.
That was the 3-1 defeat at Bristol City on the final day of last season.During that game he handed out 2 yellow cards, one to City's Jamie McAllister and the other to Rotherham's Rossi Jarvis.
