'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Will he/Won't he?

Rotherham United travel to Chesterfield this evening still not sure if their leading goalscorer, Jack Lester will play or not. He is rated as 'fifty-fifty' according to The Star today after getting injured eleven days ago. If he doesn't play (which, here at Rotherham Vital we expect him to be in the squad tonight!) then manager, Lee Richardson, will have no problem in replacing him with either Steve Fletcher or Adam Rooney. Aaran Downes is also a doubt today as he has been laid low with a virus.

Mark Robins, however, doesn't have any injury worries and his only problems will be which formation to play. He has gone on record as saying he is looking forward to the game and on BBC Look North's news bulletin this morning said, 'It will be a tasty game with both teams going well.'

Of course there will be a few more 'points scoring' this evening as Mark Robins pipped Lee Richardson to the League Two Manager of the Month Award and ex Spireite and now Millers player Mark Hudson missed out to Jack Lester with the Powerade League Two Player of the Month Award.

Twenty-seven year old Hudson hopes he can score a goal tonight against his former team as he did when he played for Huddersfield last season against them and said, 'I'm looking forward to it!'

I think Jack Lester will play. They are just keeping their cards close to their chest!!

Not bothered if he plays or not, we should be concentrating on our game and let them worry if he plays or not.

He didn't! But, if he had I don't think it would have made too much difference
