RUFC - 'We deserve more support'

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, has sent out a plea for more supporters to come and watch the Millers.

Speaking to The Advertiser he said, 'The fans who do come to Millmoor have been brilliant but I really think we deserve a bit more support. It would be nice if a few more people would come down and take a look at us.

'I know it's a tough time of year with Christmas coming up and I don't expect a full house but it would be nice for one or two more people to come.

'The more people we get through the turnstyles, the more we can strengthen the squad and keep the good, young players we have coming through.

'The fans have started to believe in the team and we took over one thousand four hundred to Chesterfield on Wednesday night. They will have filled Chesterfield's coffers and what we now need is for the fans to start to fill ours.'

So, come on you fans who think about going and then don't - listen to the manager.

The team are doing so well at the moment, much better than a lot of us thought they would do. We are in a promotion place in the League and, as the players have said before, the crowd make up that extra man.

Get yourselves down to Millmoor tomorrow and sing your hearts out for the lads!

I agree but i fear his plea will fall on deaf ears as the apathy in Rotherham is unbelievable.

I agree with that Mex. But I do wonder if they put the prices down a little, specially this time of the year, they might get more coming?
