RUFC - Ref Watch v Wrexham

MR GAVIN L WARD from SITTINGBOURNE

This is Gavin's first season on the National list of Referee's after he joined the list of assistant Referees at the start of season 2002-2003.

Saturday will be his first time in charge of a Millers game.

So far this season he has taken charge of 12 domestic games, showing 44 Yellows and 5 Reds.
He also officiated at the Euro 2008 Qualifying game between Denmark and Liechtenstein in September.
His last outing was easily his busiest, as the FA Cup replay between Bristol Rovers and Leyton Orient exploded after 51 minutes.
Orient's Wayne Corden was given a straight red for a professional foul and this was followed by 7 yellows and another sending off, as Orient were reduced to 9 men when Jabo Ibehre received his second bookable offence and walked just before the game went into extra-time.
Ibehre's first caution was for Handball and the second for timewasting.
The game ended with 32 fouls being commited.
Lets hope he has a steadier day on Saturday.

Notice how he gets an international in his first full season though, must've impressed somebody along the line.
