'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Andy - 'excellent example'

Rotherham United's Andy Warrington has made the number one shirt at Millmoor his since joining the Millers as one of manager, Mark Robins' numerous summer signings.

Speaking to The Star, Robins said, 'I watched Andy at Bury at the back end of last season and seeing that he had got all his mobility back after breaking a leg when with Doncaster Rovers, I just knew he was the one for us.

'I spoke to him and told him what our aim was and he was keen to come to Millmoor.

'I knew what he could do as a goalkeeper and he's been brilliant from day one - he's an excellent organiser and talks to the back four. He's brought a certain reassurance to the team. He's a pro who works hard and is a shining example to the youngsters.

'As I expected, he's proved to be a key signing.'
