RUFC - New Goalie in January?

Rotherham United are wrapping goalkeeper, Andy Warrington up in cotton wool at least until the first of January! At the moment, thirty-one year old Warrington is the only 'keeper, at Millmoor, who has played at senior level after Jamie Annerson's loan period ended and he went back to Bramall Lane.

But, in The Advertiser, manager, Mark Robins confirmed that he has already picked out a potential goalie for when the transfer market opens next month but he says he can't say who it is yet.

Until then, seventeen year old local lad Mark Oxley will step up to the subs bench and his manager says, 'I have no qualms about him. He's come through the ranks here and is going to be good.'

Stephen Cann joined the Millers this summer as understudy to Warrington but dislocated his shoulder in a reserve game earlier in the season and Robins says they have had to write him off for the whole season to give him chance to recover properly.
