'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - 'best team in the league'

Rotherham United are technically the best team in the league, so says young midfielder, Stephen Brogan.

Speaking to The Advertiser, he said, 'Top three is not beyond us and we know, as a team and as a club, we should be in an automatic place at the end of the season.

'We came away from Darlington disappointed with only one point - that must be a good sign.'

He said that he was gutted not to have got all three points at Darlinton on Boxing Day, 'we had chances to get a second goal. It was a pity we couldn't hang on. They got a bit of good fortune for the equaliser when their guy got a lucky first touch but it was fortune that got them a point. Although they had a ten or fifteen minute spell when they hit the crossbar and could have won it.

'We have to play MK Dons yet but I'm sure we'll match them like we did Darlington. When you play the bigger teams it steps your game up and gives you that edge because you have to raise your standards.

'If we win at Notts County on Saturday it will make it a good point at Darlington. County got a draw at Millmoor earlier in the season and we will go there looking to win.'
