'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins - 'Excellent Result'

Rotherham United took all three points today away to Notts County and manager, Mark Robins was delighted.

Speaking after the match to MillersWorld, he said, 'It was an excellent result to come to a place like this and win.

'I thought we played well again and could have won by more goals but for a mixture of lack of confidence, decent goalkeeping and a bit of wrong decision making. But I'm not going to criticise because it was another solid performance.

'Apart from one or two instances we looked strong and organised and apart from being fortunate from a couple of set pieces we deserved the win.

'The weather was a big factor and we spoke about it at half time, but it was the same for both teams.

'After a lot of thought I changed the team a bit and I felt it was important to have Mark Hudson in because he is a top player at this level. I thought the players played some exceptional stuff today in difficult conditions.

'It was Marc Joseph's first goal for the club and it was a good strike hit with power.

'The fans were absolutely brilliant today and we played some excellent stuff to entertain them and send them away happy. Now, we are looking forward to Macclesfield.'
