RUFC - Ross Cleared to Play

Rotherham United have had some good news regarding on-loan midfielder Ian Ross.

Ross's loan period actually finished after the Notts County game on Saturday and it was thought that he wouldn't be able to play on New Years Day as there wouldn't be enough time for a permanent deal to be finalised.

But manager, Mark Robins, has told The Star that it has been possible to extend the players emergency loan and he will be in the squad against Macclesfield.

It is thought that Robins wants the player to stay and talks are ongoing about a permanent deal for the twenty-one year old.
