'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Coleman 'Big Plans'

Rotherham United Chairman, Denis Coleman, has said their are big plans regarding the building of a new community stadium in the town.

Speaking to RotherFM he said, 'we want a stadium that all sorts of events can take place at. We are thinking of building an arena at one end for about four or five thousand which will mean things like pop concerts, darts, boxing etc. We could have it working for three hundred and sixty four days a year.'

But, there is still a need for the people of Rotherham to get behind the football club and prove to the council that WE, the fans, want a new stadium. A message from the board was put out yesterday thanking the fans for turning up against MK Dons on Saturday but with a plea for them to come back again.

The next Millers home game against Wycombe Wanderers is being called 'UNITED ROTHERHAM' and prices have been lowered for this game to £15 per adult, £5 senior citizens and juveniles and £1 for Under 12's for anywhere in the ground.

So, come on, get yourselves down to Millmoor and support your team and let's get some bums on seats!!!
