'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins post Lincoln

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, told RotherFM that he knew it would be a tough game at Lincoln yesterday.

'I knew Peter Jackson would have got them fired up and he's got a five point plan for survival. They came out and gave us a scare and it could easily have been two a piece in the first few minutes,' he said.

'I thought we started slowly in terms of being switched on but it was the pace of the game with the ball being played forward quickly and they were a handful up front. Jamie Forrester has had loads of experience and scored goals throughout his career and he caused us a few problems with his movement and also the lad alongside him, Wright. I thought Derek Holmes took his goals well and they will have done him a world of good.

'In the end I think the result was just reward for our efforts.'
