'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - 'Players deserve credit'

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins had nothing but praise for his players after yesterday's three-one win at Lincoln City.

Speaking to the Official Site he said, 'To a man, they all deserved credit after coming back after last weeks narrow defeat to MK Dons.

'We knew Lincoln would come at us but we felt we had enough to cope defensively while trying to hit them the other way and when we finally settled into a rhythm it worked and we played some good stuff.

'Danny Harrison is doing an unsung role really well but I've said that we need a bit more composure and I feel we got that when Ian Ross came on. Chris O'Grady was better today and I would like to see Ryan Taylor stick the ball in the net although he worked hard and Derek Holmes got in the right areas to get his just reward.

'There was a lack of communication between Andy Warrington and Graham Coughlan for their goal but we came straight back to go in front again.

'The sending off of Clarke for City looked justified and we have come away unscathed.

'Our fans were magnificent. It's superb how they keep turning up to away grounds and I would like to see them turn up at home against Wycombe where I hope not to let them down.'
