'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Holmes 'fans fantastic'

Rotherham United striker, Derek Holmes, scored his second ever hat-trick on Saturday. Today he has spoken to Millersworld about all things Millers.

The twenty-nine year old is enjoying his best scoring season in the football league so far and says it is really down to his manager, Mark Robins, who makes them work hard and also to his striking partners, Chris O'Grady and Ryan Taylor as he says he believes they all compliment each other.

Speaking about the up and coming game against Wycombe he said the confidence in the team is sky high at the moment and although the players are a bit tired the adrenalin keeps them going. He also said that Wycombe have a good manager in Paul Lambert and a good goal scorer at the moment in Scott McGleish but he said, 'we will do our best that's all we can do.'

Speaking about the fans he said, 'Away from home the fans have been fantastic and they cheer us on every week and are like the twelfth man. I hope they come out in force on Saturday and we can put on a good performance for them.'
