'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins on the Fans

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, says the Millers support is fantastic!

Speaking to RotherFM he said, 'I thought they were fantastic last week at Lincoln and today we want more of the same. They were the twelfth man we've been talking about all season. They were superb but then again they always are. You will find most clubs will tell you that the away support is a bit more vocal than at home but our fans get behind us anyway.

'We know there will be more there for today's game and we hope they will cheer us on to victory.'

Today's game is being called United Rotherham Day and the tickets have gone like hot cakes and at 10.30 this morning there was only about one thousand left. Robins was asked if the players had got involved with this campaign at all and he said, 'Yes, The Advertiser's been down and we've held banners and of course we are aware of it. But we have to focus on the game and getting three points and concentrate on our performance.

'We always want to impress the fans, after all, that's what it's all about and to get a full house will be fantastic.

'We need to get backing from the Council and I think it's great what this Board, and the people of Rotherham, are doing at the moment.'
