Rotherham United was a very special place to be on Saturday, and that statement has come from the Rotherham United Board.
Speaking to the Official Site today the statement carries on:
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who turned out to support the club. It was a superb attendance and one we hope to repeat in the future.
The support will help the club in many ways - financially and also to promote the club in future investment meetings.
Our aim as a board is to move yours and our club forward and our goal is clear. We need and want a new stadium and you have given us a huge push in that direction. Thank you.
We asked our supporters to help us and you did! And, to those who came down for the first time in a while we hope you enjoyed your day and we hope to see you again for the Hereford game in two weeks.
For those who come every week and brought someone with you, thank you. There would be no club without you.
It was a United Rotherham
