'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Club in fresh plea

Rotherham United are once again appealing to the fans to get out and support them on Saturday against Hereford.

Nearly seven thousand fans turned out at the last home game, which was called United Rotherham Day against Wycombe and the club are urging the fans to come again.

Chairman, Denis Coleman told the Rotherham Record, 'We were delighted with the support against Wycombe but we don't want to relax. We need a good percentage of those who turned out for the Wycombe game to come on Saturday too.'

According to the Record, the landowners of the planned site for the new ground are due to come back to the club with an official reaction to the plan before the end of February. The more backing the club gets the more their ambitions can gain momentum.

Season Ticket holders can get friends and family in for a special rate on Saturday with pre-bought tickets.

Each season ticket holder can get two tickets for the following prices:

£15 for Adults
£5 for Concessions
£1 for Under 12's

The tickets must be bought before 5pm on Friday, 1 February.

I'd like to see at least 6,000 here on Saturday. Hope the weather dont drive some of the "floating fans" away.
