'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Pettigrew 'happy to be here'

Rotherham United have got the services of Chelsea's Reserve captain, Adrian Pettigrew until the end of the season - and maybe beyond.

Speaking yesterday to RotherFM, the defender said, 'I am enjoying it here so far and am happy to be here. I'm still getting to know the lads but they are buzzing and confidence is high because of where they are in the league and long may it continue.'

The twenty-one year old defender knows that he will have to work to get into the first team and says, 'I am willing to work to earn my position and whenever it comes I'll be happy. I want to play but if I have to wait and take my turn then so be it but the main thing is to be part of a good squad and get promotion.

'I have played with and against some of the best in the Premiership and I hope I can bring that experience here.

'I've signed until the end of the season and am happy but if I get the chance and extend my loan into a permanent move then so be it.'

Speaking about himself he said,'I think I am quite a quick player, strong and dominant in the air, a decent passer and a good organiser on the pitch.'

Good Luck, Adrian, from all at Vital Rotherham!
