RUFC - Robins look to emergency loan

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, failed to fetch anyone in before the transfer window closed at the end of last month but it wasn't without trying and Vital understand a deal was actually scuppered at the eleventh hour

Now, he is looking towards the emergency loan system that opens up today and, according to The Star, he will know in the next twenty-four hours if he can bring someone in, though whether it will be in time for the weekend remains to be seen.

Robins said, 'I can use the emergency loan system but I only want to bring players here who want to come to the club.

'I am more than happy with my players and the effort they have put in - not many people envisaged we would be in the position we are in at the start of the season.

'Expectations have risen but I can tell you that the players will give it their best shot.'
