'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins 'faith in lads'

Rotherham United have been struggling in front of goal over the last few games which sent manager, Mark Robins, looking at available strikers only to find that there were none better than the ones he already had.

Speaking to The Advertiser Robins said, 'I had a look at one or two players but, to be honest, I can't see the point in fetching anyone here who isn't better than the strikers I already have.

'The lads up front are good enough and I have every faith in them. They just need to get a goal to regain their confidence.'

The Millers go to stadium:mk tomorrow and could do with a result there and on Tuesday night they play at home against Stockport when, really, a win is a must.

Robins says he has no problem about the quality of football his team are playing, although admits they didn't play well at Peterborough.

'We're looking forward to playing the Dons,' he said. And the fans must be looking forward to the game as well because the first allocation of five hundred tickets were snapped up as was the second five hundred tickets. Another five hundred tickets arrived yesterday morning and had started to go too. The tickets will be on sale at the ticket office until 5pm today.

i hope we go to mk and prove that we didn`t need to bring a striker in as i believe what we have is good enough, they just need that break in front of goal.

I've been saying all along that I don't think we really need a new striker in.
