'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins pre MK Dons

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, knows that last week was a bad week for the Millers and knows how important it will be for the players and the fans to bounce back tomorrow at stadium:mk.

Speaking to RotherFM he said, 'We are still smarting from the defeat at home to MK Dons - a game I thought we dominated but didn't take our chances. We were devestated after the game but we bounced back well and have got to bounce back from last week too. MK Dons have had some defeats, every team goes through it, and we are looking forward to the game.

'All the games are going to be difficult from now but we will be giving teams tough games as well. We are in the position we are in on merit and we aim to stop in the top seven which gives us a chance of achieving the target we set ourselves.

'We know what we've got in terms of finance and players - although you are always looking to strengthen if the right player comes along - but the players have done well here to gel quickly and get us in the position we are in.

'We will have a strong travelling support again tomorrow - a lot will have to do with the fact that it's a new ground but we are fighting to be up there with MK Dons so that will add to the occasion too.

'It's important to bounce back after last week. The effort was there but we didn't take our chances and lacked a bit of quality in front of goal - and we have to put that right. We might get a little bit anxious but we have to stay strong and focus on the ninety minutes plus we are out there.'
