Former Rotherham player David Worrall has been through the Mill during the last month but last night put it behind him for a while as he helped Southend to a win over Bury by scoring the only goal of the game.

David, who was with the Millers last season, dedicated the goal to Noah, his baby son who was born prematurely and sadly died just forty-five minutes later.

'I went to the grave and told him I was playing,' David told BBC Essex, 'and the goal was for him.'
