I've had a very busy couple of days. Yesterday, a train to the Urban in Doncaster. Grace was singing there. Had a fantastic time! Found blokes to dance with, wheeee!!
Shopping this morning, then the Over 60's this afternoon. Actually won a line at bingo, wheee again!
Tomorrow it's a train to Leicester, see if they have more bunting/banners/flags out, than they did in Barnsley!!

Been to the hairdressers this morning - was definitely ready for a cut and colour! Then went to see a friend for a couple of hours this afternoon.

Blue rinse, Caz ????

Been a busy time for funerals at work lately.
Not going to the Brighton match today - sold out really quickly and i'm on call anyway.

I'm also on call on bank holiday weekend - hopefully that will be irrelevant (play-off wise).

I went to see my Granddaughter Evie yesterday - the A1 was shut so we had to take a detour both to and from Newcastle - but it only took us about eight miles out of our way so not too bad. I had Grandma cuddles and we took her for a pram ride - though Grandad nearly bounced her out going up the big pavement edges round there!

Been out shopping with my friend this morning and when I got back I spent an hour or so in the garden weeding and pruning, also done some ironing and seen to salads for tea! It's been a lovely day here but doesn't sound like tomorrow will be as nice.

Is the A1 closed for roadworks ,Caz?
If so then it's been like that for quite a while.

Had a trip to Grimsby (then Hartlepool) on Sunday.
Weedkilling yesterday and Grass Cutting today
Tomorrow will be digging for a while , then back on the Grass Cutter.

It wasn't like it the week before - but there was a few miles of 50mph and down to one lane so I'm guessing that was why.

Hope you get your digging done - the weather isn't so good here

Yeah i got everything done that i wanted , and a bit more! Thanks Caz.

Must be some different roadworks , i know part of the A1 (near Newcastle) was closed a while back when my partner was up there for work.

We haven't had any rain for over a week now - mind you i've probably gone and jinxed it now!!!!

Just seen someone on facebook has put a weather link that says 'put the flip flops away and get out the shovels' for the expected snow this weekend!

We're going to Bristol for a wedding!

Oh what did you buy, digger!

Yes, the forecast isn't so good here for the next few days.

Luckily it was a beautiful day for my nephew's wedding on Saturday - and a good time was had by all!

A couple of deck chairs !!! Not my idea.

We only have a small car , but she insists on buying stuff (on ebay) that wont fit in the car .
We've bought wardrobes (hired a van for those) , tables and other things that have ended up on a flimsy roof rack , having to travel miles whilst enduring a near gale-force wind - nerve wracking!!!

Luckily the deck chairs (just) fitted into the car - although i dont think the dogs were best pleased - i think they thought they were being attacked.

Mind you , i got to photograph the old railway station while we were in Richmond.

Went up to Hebburn again yesterday - good journey there and our nearly four week old granddaughter took us to the pub! We set off home about 6ish because we'd been told the A1 was shutting again at 8pm. They lied! So we did our detour to the A19 which actually was fine as there was no traffic!

Oh dear Bez! Not working then, eh!

Went to a friends BBQ last night and we invented a new cocktail - none of us can actually remember what was in it so we might have to repeat the process soon!
