The Mail on Line is running the story that Huddersfield Town are thinking of shutting down their academy.

Philip Billing is the only current academy graduate in the first team at the moment.

For me I think you have to look at your squad and think, well for one thing how many English players are in there and for another how many of my squad have come through other teams academies.

If all the teams shut down their academies where would all the players come from?
