Nice things to keep to, Oz - the photos.

We are lucky because we put our photo's on the computer and we have something that is like a saver screen at the side and it randomly picks a photo every 30 seconds or so - it means we get to see them quite a lot, and they aren't just stuck in a folder. It also means that often during our evening meal (tea to us Northerners!) we have to leave off eating to find out where the picture is!

I have photos of each set of my Grandparents and nearly all of my Uncles and Aunts of which there are many. Both my parents are from large families and so I have many cousins also.
I collect as many as I can to pass on to my sons and Grandchildren and in December 27th I was presented with my first Great Grandchild for Xmas.
I need a lot of photos to go round. Lol

Ahh, that's lovely - nice belated Christmas present!

I have albums and albums of 'photo's - my sister and I started doing our family tree - we got back to one part of the family to the early 1700's. Trouble is there's just papers and papers and then things we've written down, all over. By the time you've got them all out and sorted them you're fed up!

Another good result for you both. 2-0

Bad habit of our late relatives, well mine anyway, was to forget or not bother to date their photos or even say where they were taken.
Still, it’s good for the old brain to try and figure these things out eh.

Yes, we have photo's that we can only guess at. My dad, on the other hand, dated and wrote on the back of every photo.

Yes, it was a good result. Wimbledon aren't that bad a team at the moment despite their position. I'm just hoping I don't wake up from this dream!

I watched the first half of the Burnley v Man City game on Saturday - Burnley are doing well at the moment and not bad on around 20% of the possession the other day! I've seen the Sterling miss on TV - we missed two like that on Saturday!

Just watched the Chelsea / Watford game - if every player was yellow carded for two, what I see as 'soft' fouls like Bakayoko was I don't think there'd be many players on the pitch at the end of the game. Once they'd gone down to ten Watford were all over them.

Referees this season seem to differ a lot in their decisions. We have had so many really bad tackles which have led to a few bad injuries with the culprits letoff with a yellow and at times with nothing.
Bakayoko’s sending off was terrible.

Lol

Rainy today so a quick walk and then off to the library.
Bloody weeds are the one sure and certainty in a garden.
Barney is laying here chasing something in his sleep
Alls well.

The sun is shining here! It's still cold though!

Off to catch the bus soon into town for a wander - it doesn't take long to wander round Rotherham town centre these days

Went to the theatre last night with a group of friends (including Caz) . Saw Beautiful the musical about Carole King. Was very good - thoroughly enjoyed it.

That would be good fun eh!

Will be watching Spurs v Arsenal later this evening.
Should be a decent game unless one or the other parks the bus, most probably Arsenal.

I know - but we aren't saying anything!

Your lot don't know when to stop scoring do they! Want to be careful they might run out of goals! lol

Enjoyed the game yesterday - good atmosphere. At the end even their goalie applauded us Millers fans, which I think is nice - wouldn't see that in the Premier League! And I can't remember it happening n the Championship either

Always good to see sportsmanship Caz and it’s a pity it seems at time to be missing when you get to the EPL

Another good result for us against Leicester with a nice bonus.....Newcastle beating the Salford team from the old toilet.

Rest day today, lawns tomorrow.
Looking forward to that.

I had a bit of a rest day yesterday! Daughter came Saturday while I was in Sc**thorpe and had gone out with her pals before I got back. Cooked her brunch yesterday morning and she went home around midday. I did very little after that!

Supposed to be meeting Bez in Sheffield today but she's text to inform me she will try to get to her bus stop but they have 3 inches of snow!

Very cold here but the sun is shining!

Bez, was that the lady that was here way back when I used to come in?

Another great win for you, at this rate it won’t be long before you are playing us!
State electricity sent us a post two weeks ago that our power will be off from 8am until 3.30 pm tomorrow due to them upgrading something or other.
Guess what the temp is going to be tomorrow...37c. Nearly 100f
Will be off early to buy some ice.

Re Bez, yes it was - she doesn't really do computers anymore

Both teams had good wins didn't they!

I should stop in the ice shop! Or, alternatively just pop over here - it's not that warm at the moment - it was absolutely freezing last night. I had two pairs of warm trousers on and my knees were still blue!

Have you seen the Beatles herringthorpe? I went to see them at the civic theatre at Rotherham. They were really good. They are coming again in the autumn this year. Well worth a visit to watch them.
