Mansfield vs. Rotherham

Field Mill

26 April

3pm

Millers visit Stags

With Mansfield fighting for their lives and the Millers playing for pride, and maybe for their life, this game should be very entertaining.
The last league game these two played in at Field Mill ended in a 2-1 win for the Millers and earlier this season the teams met there in the JP Trophy when a headed goal from Ian Sharps gave the Millers a 1-0 win.
The Stags are currently in 23rd place in the League with the Millers in 12th

Vital Quotes:

Mark Robins: Mansfield are fighting for their lives and it will be a competitive game. We are going with a positive frame of mind and will let them deal with the pressure

Paul Holland - The lads are confident ahead of tomorrows game and people are walking round the ground with smiles on their faces. We want to end our season at home with a victory.

Mansfield Team News:

Paul Holland has no fresh injury problems ahead of the clash with the Millers with Michael Boulding and John Mullins OK after getting minor knocks last weekend. Lee Bell has begun training but it is not likely he will be in the squad

Player to watch: Johnny Mullins

Mullins has just won the SSA Player of the Season Award. He joined Town from Kidderminster at the back end of the 2006 season. He is a versatile defender, usually playing at right back

Rotherham Team News:

The Millers are keeping an eye on ever present 'keeper, Andy Warrington who has been suffering with an injury this week and have England U18 International, Mark Oxley waiting in the wings. Ian Sharps is back in training but it is thought this game will be too soon for him

Player to watch: Pablo Mills

Pabs is strong in defence and seems to be pulling the team together at the moment

Ref Watch:

Iain Williamson from Berkshire

Next Fixtures:

Our last game of the season will (fingers and toes crossed and looking for black cats) be against Barnet at Millmoor on Saturday, May 3rd with a 3pm kick off
