After all the ups, downs and being shoved sideways in the last three months it's a relief that we are actually starting the season tomorrow. We know the points penalty, we know what we have to do and we hope we can do it against Lincoln City tomorrow. I've watched four games at our new home, Don Valley, but I still can't get used to it - let's hope, on the pitch, the team don't feel the same.
I think Lincoln will be one of the teams to watch this season. 'Lord of the Imps', manager Peter Jackson, has brought in a few new faces during pre-season including Frank Sinclair and Stefan Oakes.
The Millers have some new faces too including striker Reuben Reid and have a new skipper in Pablo Mills.
The Millers have to win to start pulling back the points and as Lincoln haven't won away against Rotherham for fifty-one years it could be the omen we need - though, of course, we don't play in our home town anymore....
Millers Manager, Mark Robins, says he is looking forward to the game and now that the club know the penalty they have they can get on with it.
Imps Manager, Peter Jackson has also said he's looking forward to the game and now it's up to his players to deliver.
The Millers will be without broken leg victim, Stephen Brogan until, probably, the new year. Marc Newsham has a heel injury and newcomer, Mark Burchill is suffering with a groin problem
Impressed with his pace and goals pre-season
New signing Frank Sinclair has a calf injury and is rated as only fifty-fifty. Ben Wright and Danny N'Guessan have knocks but should be fit to play
I had inside information from Vital Lincoln on this lad! They say he is definitely one to watch out for
Mr Andy Haines from Sunderland
The Millers travel all the way to Hillsborough for the first round of the League Cup on Tuesday, 12th August
