Rotherham vs. Luton

Don Valley Stadium

20 September 2008

Millers take on Hatters

With both teams starting the season on minus points, this is a 'big' game tomorrow afternoon at Don Valley. The Football League smacked a massive minus thirty on the Hatters but winning three and drawing one has see them pull back ten points so far. The Millers are fourteen points better off on minus six.
There are a few ex Millers with the Hatters at the moment, not least, manager, Mick Harford and ex skipper, Kevin Watson.

Vital Quotes:

Mark Robins - It's a big game and Luton will come with great expectations - being on home soil brings added pressure, but we can handle it
Mick Harford - I'm looking forward to it.

Rotherham Team News:

The Millers are just about at full strength. Mark Joseph is still suffering with a neck problem. It could be that Mark Robins will swop one or two players tomorrow after a poor display last weekend

Player to watch: Reuben Reid

Found his scoring boots again last week

Luton Team News:

George Pilkington looks like being out for two or three weeks with loan player, Harry Worley coming in to replace him. Kevin Nicholls has re-occuring hamstring problems and is only rated as fifty/fifty to play. Rossi Jarvis has shook off a knock and is likely to play

Player to watch: Rossi Jarvis

Adaptable player who the Millers should know about after he played ten games on loan for us last season.

Ref Watch:

Phil N Gibbs from the West Midlands

Next Fixtures:

The Millers next game is in the Third Round of the Carling Cup when Southampton visit Don Valley. This is on Tuesday, 23rd September with a 7.45pm kick-off
