Rotherham United vs. Grimsby Town

Don Valley Stadium

4 October 2008

3.00pm

Millers take on Mariners

Troubled Grimsby come to Don Valley tomorrow looking for their first win of the season. The Mangerless Mariners are languishing just one place above the Millers with three points.
Rotherham haven't lost at Don Valley since their move in the summer and three points tomorrow will get them into plus points.

Vital Quotes:

Mark Robins - it would be magnificent to be above zero on Saturday night
Stuart Watkiss (caretaker manager) - it will be a really tough game and they are a threat all over the pitch. We have looked at ways to best combat Rotherham and I believe we are capable of going and getting something there

Rotherham United Team News:

Mark Robins will be without Mark Lynch and there is doubt over Danny Harrison. Richie Barker has signed today and could well take some part in the game

Player to watch: Nick Fenton

Ex Mariner and will want to put one over on them

Grimsby Town Team News:

Richard Hope is missing for the visitors but, although Malvin Kamara hasn't trained this week, he should be fit to play.

Player to watch: Nathan Jarman

Highly rated as a youngster with Barnsley. Joined Grimsby last season. Can put in some good balls

Ref Watch:

CW OLIVER from Northumberland

Next Fixtures:

The Millers entertain Leeds United on Wednesday night in the Johnstone Paint Trophy

Kick off is 7.45pm

3 points a must against teams like these

It's usually teams like this that we are poor against though isn't it!

Can see us struggling against you and to be honest, can not see us coming away from DV with anything, were playing poor at the moment.

tbh, m_m, I think we're rather glad that you haven't got a new manager in before today's game. Though, saying that, I have seen the interview with Stuart Watkiss and he seems confident
