Millers v Leeds Preview

With the Millers now being on plus points it's time to take a break from the league and concentrate on the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Having got a bye in the first round the Millers entertain Leeds United at Don Valley tomorrow evening.
Rotherham will be on a high and won't want to come down to earth in front of Sky TV and it's expected that Mark Robins will put out a strong side.
Meanwhile, Leeds, no strangers themselves to minus points, have been flying high and are currently fourth in League One. A blip on Saturday saw them lose at Peterboro' and they won't want to make it two on the trot at Don Valley.
All in all it should be a good Yorkshire derby tomorrow night.

Vital Quotes:

Gary McAllister - When I look through the Rotherham squad I expect them to be an offensive side and what they've done already has been a tough ask. We know they like to have a crack at goal

Rotherham Team News:

Richie Barker is cup-tied so won't play. Danny Harrison has recovered from an injury and could be included in the team. The Millers have no other injury worries

Player to watch: Nick Fenton

Stands firm at the back alongside Ian Sharps

Leeds Team News:

Goalkeeper David Lucas pulled out of Saturday's game with a finger injury but trained yesterday with a splint on it and could be included, though doubtful. Alan Sheehan could also be in the squad after recovering from a hamstring injury. Gary McAllister made nine changes in the first round of this competition and could well do the same thing again

Player to watch: Andy Robinson

Midfielder who arrived in the summer from Swansea. Capable of finding the net

Ref Watch:

SW Mathieson

The Millers make the long trip to Bournemouth next Saturday, 11 October with a 3pm kick-off
